Filem ini mengisahkan kehidupan seorang lelaki bernama Nordin yang menghadapi masalah kurang keyakinan diri atau ‘inferiority complex’ akibat bentuk fizikal badannya yang gemuk. Masalah dalaman diri yang bermula sejak dari zaman sekolah ini terbawa-bawa hinggalah dia menjadi seorang eksekutif syarikat komputer di Cyberjaya. Malah dia juga masih lagi menjadi mangsa buli rakan sekolahnya, Roy yang kebetulan muncul di tempat kerja Nordin sebagai pengurus. Ketika menghadapi konflik yang tidak menentu ini, Nordin bertemu dengan pakar sakit jiwa bernama Dr Ika yang kemudian membantu membina semula keyakinan dirinya. Dari situlah berputiknya cinta Nordin dan Dr Ika.

Hari pertama pembukaan kelas baru di sekolah SD Muhammadyah menjadi sangat menegangkan bagi dua guru luar biasa, Muslimah (Cut Mini) dan Pak Harfan (Ikranagara), serta 9 orang murid yang menunggu di sekolah yang terletak di desa Gantong, Belitong. Sebab kalau tidak mencapai 10 murid yang mendaftar, sekolah akan ditutup.
Hari itu, Harun, seorang murid istimewa menyelamatkan mereka. Ke 10 murid yang kemudian diberi nama Laskar Pelangi oleh Bu Muslimah, menjalin kisah yang tak terlupakan.
5 tahun bersama, Bu Mus, Pak Harfan dan ke 10 murid dengan keunikan dan keistimewaannya masing masing, berjuang untuk terus bisa sekolah. Di antara berbagai tantangan berat dan tekanan untuk menyerah, Ikal (Zulfani), Lintang (Ferdian) dan Mahar (Veris Yamarno) dengan bakat dan kecerdasannya muncul sebagai pendorong semangat sekolah mereka.
Di tengah upaya untuk tetap mempertahankan sekolah, mereka kehilangan sosok yang mereka cintai. Sanggupkah mereka bertahan menghadapi cobaan demi cobaan?
Film ini dipenuhi kisah tentang tantangan kalangan pinggiran, dan kisah penuh haru tentang perjuangan hidup menggapai mimpi, serta keindahan persahabatan yang menyelamatkan hidup manusia, dengan latar belakang sebuah pulau indah yang pernah menjadi salah satu pulau terkaya di Indonesia.

Gadoh tells a story of a group of teenagers who fought each other along racial lines; a cycle of hatred and violence further escalated by their environment and school system.
What was to be a quick resolution to improve the school’s bad image, was taken as an opportunity for one teacher who believed that real change was possible. She ropes in the help of an old friend and reluctant maverick theater activist for this arduous task.
Is there hope amidst the cycle of discrimination that surrounds us? Watch Gadoh for their story, and what it may very well tell us about ourselves.

Ellie (Queen Latifah) and Manny (Ray Romano) are expecting their first child, and Manny is obsessed with making life perfect and safe for the family, since his first experiences as a husband and father went bad when his family was killed by hunters. At the same time, Diego (Denis Leary) finds himself unable to catch a cocky gazelle (Bill Hader) he has been stalking and decides to leave the herd, believing that he is losing his predatory nature as a tiger. Sid (John Leguizamo) grows jealous of Manny and Ellie and "adopts" three apparently abandoned eggs that he finds in an icy underground cavern and call them Eggbert, Shelly, and Yoko. Manny tells him to put them back (saying Sid would never make a good parent, saying, "First sign: Stealing someone else's eggs. Second sign: One of them almost became a omelette"), but Sid instead looks after the eggs, which hatch into baby Tyrannosaurus the next morning.

College student Kei Kurono (Kazunari Ninomiya) notices former childhood friend Masaru Kato (Kenichi Matsuyama) helping a drunk man who fell from a subway platform. Kei Kurono then jumps down to help his childhood friend. A few moments later, the subway train rapidly approaches and both men look on helplessly on as their life is about to end.
The next moment, Kei Kurono and Masaru Kato finds themselves in a strange apartment with a mysterious giant black sphere and others who have recently died. The massive black sphere in the center of the living room is "GANTZ". GANTZ then assigns the people gathered in the room on missions to exterminate aliens. They are given a set time and if successful will receive points. A total of 100 points will allow them to leave this purgatory like place or send someone else back to life. If they fail, they can perish forever ...
